I’m honored to host the release of “The Tattoo Artist’s Mate,” Book one in the Bare Alley Ink Series by Doris O’Connor & Raven McAllan

The Tattoo Artist’s Mate

Welcome Raven and thank you for honoring my blog with the release of your new book, The Tattoo Artist’s Mate. I know you have much to say about how the book came to be and your relationship with your friend Doris. Before you go on, I’d like to add a brief a personal note:

Though we may or may not realize it, to those of us who were touched by Doris’ loving and sometimes honest, critical critique-hand (a writer could never ask for better or more) her own writing and creativity will live on in each and every story we produce. She was one in a million, and she is dearly missed. ~ Kory Steed

Kory Steed

Hi there and thank you for welcoming me to your blog, on this bittersweet occasion. (this is Raven)

As most people know, my bestie, the sister I’d never had, the other half of me, the lovely Doris O’Connor passed away in January from Cancer of an unknown primary.

To say this knocked me for six is an understatement. We knew it wasn’t going to be a good outcome, but it happened so fast. Those of you who followed her on Facebook and twitter will know how it went.

Ironically, she rang me to tell me, just as I was…at a large supermarket collecting for cancer research!

When she went into hospital she was in pain and bored. Nagging me over my Regencies (finish it already, write the sex, just do it) and wondering how to pass the time.

I remember a germ of an idea we’d had a couple of years ago about a tattoo artist who was a shifter. Wrote the first bit and sent it to her with a note…over to you…

I got a giggle gif and a thumbs up. Then Doris’ words. It was, I was told up to me to amalgamate everything.

So the Skype messages went back and forth, and we plotted the story, wrote it both in sequence and odd scenes we knew had to go in somewhere.

Until the time she was in too much pain to write any more. But she did make me promise to finish the book. Add as much as was needed, but finish it.

 So I did.

This is the result of our collaboration.

I have two hope…okay three.

One, you enjoy it,

Two you can’t see the seams,

Three we sell lots and lots and lots and give Doria a fabulous bwst seller send off.

The Tattoo Artist’s Mate

Blub

When Isla Campbell leaves her so-called Dom, she is determined never to sub again. All she wants is her tattoo removed and to live a quiet life with no dominant, or domineering men in it.

Until she meets Gaspar MacDonald, tattoo artist and unbeknown to her, a bear shifter.

Isla calls to Gaspar in the most basic of ways, he knows she is his mate.

Now all he has to do is persuade Isla of that fact. Oh and explain he’s a Dom, and a shifter, and that subbing for your Dom is not what she thought it was, but much better.

Will Isla trust him enough to discover if they have what would be the perfect match?

Fancy a wee tease?

Here you go…

~~ . I didn’t get a chance to answer. I was too busy trying not to come as he kissed and then sucked my nipples, and saints above, began to play with my clit. Oh Lordy, so bloody good. I think I moaned, but to be honest, I was drowning in the sensation so I had no idea.
Somehow, I managed to find his cock and stroke it. It was Noah’s turn to moan now.
“Fuck it, I want to be in you. Need to be in you, and I’ve no bloody condoms.” He moved away a bit and I took advantage of the fact to get onto my knees, take his cock into my mouth, and lave it.
Not a boy scout then.
“On the pill,” I mumbled around a mouthful of hot, hard, but soft as silk, male flesh. “Clean, and fuck it, fill me.” I took one long hard pull on his dick and let go with a plop. Better than an ice lolly any day.
Noah didn’t hesitate, thank goodness, and had me on my back and his cock poised at the entrance to my channel faster than I could say climax.
“Got to be now, love.”
Just as well.
He pushed. I clenched my inner muscles—thank goodness for Kegel exercises—and held him tight. Noah swore and laughed. I grinned and we set up that age-old motion of in, out, tighten, release until I felt him swell even more inside me.
My nipples hurt in the best possible way.
“Sheesh, now got to be, oh Lord, help please…” I was almost incoherent, sobbing, throbbing, and any other ing you could mention. It was pleasure, it was pain, it was…
“Now!” Noah roared, and his hot, sticky release filled me.
“Yes.” I let myself fly and saw stars as my climax hit me with all the subtlety of a baseball hit by a champion.
Yeah, I was a screamer. Did I care? Not one bit. I moaned, groaned, and wriggled as well. Loved it all.~~

A new a BDSM, dark romance release from Elyzabeth M VaLey, “Open (Lust, Love and Darkness)”

Open (Lust, Love and Darkness)

Welcome Elyzabeth and congratulations on your new BDSM, dark romance release, Open (Lust, Love and Darkness).

What would you like readers to take away from your story? Does it contain a message?

I think most of my books, be they fantasy, paranormal, or contemporary, contain some kind of message.

In the case of Open, there are little messages throughout the story but the big one, as the title suggests, (and other than the eroticization of the word), is that you have to open yourself up to new experiences, adventure, people and love. No one said it was easy though.

Where did you find your inspiration for the story? Was it a person, a current event, something you witnessed, or something else?

Author Doris O’ Connor was my inspiration for this story.

Back in January. I’d been working with a group of other authors on an anthology for her. Doris had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and we had decided to put together a collection of BDSM stories to help her and her family in any little way we could. While I was writing Entwined, my collaboration in the anthology, my muse started whispering about Marcus and a three book dark BDSM romance series which had to be written.

Doris’ star genre was BDSM and though she never got to see the publication of Passion, Pleasure, Pain, Anthology nor hear about Open (Lust, Love and Darkness), I like to think she would have enjoyed reading them.

She was always supportive of my writing and will always be an inspiration to me.

How much emphasis do you put on supporting characters to move the plot of your stories along? Have any of your supporting characters ever gotten their own story?

It really depends on the story. Some supporting characters have more weight than others and some have gotten their own story. For instance, in Max’s Desire, Killian’s action prompts a lot of what brings Max face to face with his mate.

Other secondary characters are mentioned in passing but hold a big weight within the story. That’s the case with Becky in Open. Book two of the Lust, Love and Darkness series is going to be about her.

What is your writing process? Are you a patnser or a plotter, or a little of both?

I used to be more of a pantster, but lately I’ve come to realize I’ve become a bit of both. I tend to come up with a single scene, then work from there by just writing. As a write, I outline where I think the book should go, but a lot of the time that all changes and I end up with a completely different idea of what I had originally thought.

In the case of Open I first came up with the series idea, and Marcus’ character. He was dominant, and he clearly knew what he wanted: Gabi, mouth open, lips around his… You get the picture. From there though, the way he went around to achieve things changed from want, want, want now, to a man who knew what he wanted but also had an insurmountable amount of patience and would wait for the woman of his dreams to be ready to give herself to him.

What do you do in your down time to feed your soul?

In my down time, I enjoy sleeping, reading, watching the occasional cartoon on TV (I’m a huge Disney fan), playing with my dogs and just hanging out with family and friends.

What’s next on your literary horizon?

I just signed a contract for Killian’s Hope, book 4 of my paranormal-fantasy series, Alpha Protectors, and I’m already working on book 2 of Lust, Love and Darkness.

Blurb:

One day she’d be his.

Almost a decade ago, Marcus Grimes worked as a bodyguard to a man who didn’t deserve the woman he’d had. When she finally left, Marcus vowed to eventually find her and make her his.

The time is now.

Marcus runs into Gabi at a BDSM club, indulging in a different partner every week but never really exploring beyond the mere superficial. She doesn’t remember him, and he convinces her to give him a chance.

All she has to do is open.
After leaving an abusive relationship, Gabi moved cities and reinvented herself. Now, she’s confident and capable of playing with any Dom she sees fit without compromising herself or her emotions.

Until she meets Marcus Grimes.

There is something familiar about him, which should have stopped her, but instead spurs her on, and before she realizes it, Marcus is not only opening her body to his exploration, he’s also delving into her heart.

However, when their mutual past comes to light and everything she’s fought for during the last eight years is jeopardized, will she close herself off again or will she give love an opportunity?

Excerpt:

Marcus sipped at his soda, wishing it were something stronger so his libido would subside. Who was he kidding? Looking at her would get him aroused regardless of the amounts of alcohol he drank.

She was perfect. Everything he’d ever fantasized about: luscious curves, ample bottom, tits which would fit his hands, and a mouth made for sucking and screaming out his name.

Gabi. Her last name was of no consequence. Neither was her first name. Years ago, he’d known her as Abby. What mattered was that when he made her his, he’d refer to her as “kitten”. He’d called her it once, by accident. The term had come naturally. Back then, she had been vulnerable, small, like an abandoned pet. Now, however, he stood in the presence of a different type of cat. She was graceful, strong, seductive.

Unfortunately, unlike cats, which tended to be more snobbish when it came to choosing an owner, Gabi played with just about everyone. She was a regular at the BDSM club where he’d found her. One night, he’d see her getting a spanking, the next, a caning, and another day, she was being whipped. There didn’t seem to be anything Gabi wouldn’t try, except sticking with the same partner. She had a different Dom every weekend, playing with them at a distance, never really giving in to the experience. He knew why, and he was determined to change it. Starting tonight.

Currently, she was tied to the Saint Andrew’s cross, and Master Eric was giving her a good flogging. The Dom played her like an instrument, knowing exactly where to hit to make her skin tingle but not bruise. Marcus scowled. When they played, he’d make sure to mark her so every time she sat down, she would remember him and how her body had yielded to her Dom’s touch.

Marcus downed the last of his drink and moved closer to the cross. It’d been close to eight years since he’d last seen her. Eight years. He sometimes thought they had been wasted years, but deep down, he knew they hadn’t. After what she’d gone through, she’d needed the time to heal and become the person she was now.

In all that time, he’d never stopped wanting her. He’d been incapable of erasing her from his mind even after he’d lost track of her whereabouts. And then, fate had thrown her in his path. He’d finally decided to join the BDSM community in the city, and he’d found her. Here of all places. In his city.

One look at her and he’d made up his mind. Gabi would be his. Permanently this time. He’d bided his time, investigating her present, trying to find out more about who she was today. Every weekend for the past month, he’d come to the club and watched her. He’d leave with a hard-on and a desperate craving to claim her.

Tonight would be different. Eric was almost done, each stroke of the flogger turning into a caress until it came to a full stop. Gabi shuddered and hung her head. Marcus stiffened. Was she okay? Eric seemed to think the same because he hurried forward and whispered in her ear. Gabi nodded. Eric chuckled. Giving her ass a light tap, he began to undo the restraints.

Marcus clenched his fists. Soon, he’d be the only one spanking Gabi’s behind. He waited patiently for them to finish. His heart hammered in his chest, and sweat gathered at his nape. He hadn’t been so on edge in years.

Finally, Gabi became free and turned around. Marcus’s breath caught. She wasn’t naked, but she didn’t need to be to get his dick hardening. He focused on her mouth. Wide with plump lips. How many times had he fantasized about having them around his dick? Fucking her mouth. Marcus swallowed a groan.

Soon.

Eric blocked his view, stepping in front of Gabi to give her a hug. She smiled politely, but there was no affection in her gaze. She was merely being civil. Marcus smirked. They wouldn’t end their sessions with a friendly pat. Finally, Eric left. Before Gabi could also leave, Marcus approached her. She saw him coming, her gaze narrowing and her lips parting into a coquettish smirk. He couldn’t wait to make it sincere.

“Gabi?”

“That’s me. What can I call you, handsome?”

“Marcus will do for now.”

She pouted, feigning disappointment.

“Shame, I thought you were a Dom.”

Marcus grinned. “I am.”

“And you don’t want me to call you Sir or Master? Do you prefer Daddy?” She ran her fingertips across his forearm making goosebumps sprout on his flesh. Marcus pulled away.

“If the men you’ve been playing with require you call them Sir after barely ten seconds of interaction, you’ve been hanging around the wrong people.”

She shrugged, her gaze dipping then just as quickly meeting his again.

“So, why are we having this conversation, Marcus?”

“I would like to play with you.”

Gabi quirked an eyebrow. “And you don’t want me to call you ‘Sir’?”

“Not yet.”

“Well, I’m done for today, so maybe next time,”

He grabbed her wrist. Her eyes blazed.

“Release me.”

“In a minute, kitten.”

“Don’t call me that. I didn’t give you the right.”

“Forgive me,” Marcus apologized. “You’re right.” He stepped into her personal space, forcing her to tilt her head to look at him even though she wasn’t much shorter. “You have to understand, Gabi, I don’t want to play with you right now. I want to get to know you a bit before I make you kneel at my feet, open up that pretty little mouth of yours and stuff it with my cock until you gag.”

The Dom Who Said Please by Raven McAllan ~ written for Doris O’Connor

The Dom Who Said Please

Welcome again Raven. I’m so pleased to host your new Regency Romance Novel, The Dom Who Said Please. What a wonderful gift you’ve created for out dear, late friend, Doris O’Connor.

Hi there, and thank you for inviting me onto your blog.

I’m so excited to be able to tell you a little bit about my new release from Evernight Publishing, The Dom Who Said Please.

As I’m sure you all know the lovely author Doris O’Connor lost her battle with cancer earlier this year. She was like a sister to me. My husband and I are honorary grandparents to her children, and we spoke every day. Even though we lived at opposite ends of the country we got together regularly.

She always said she loved my Regencies more than anything else so I started writing this for her, when she went into hospital. Sadly she didn’t get to read the end, but I’d told her the plot and she approved.

I hope it works for you as well.

Blurb…

Widow Eleanor Charter knows one thing. She does not want to marry again.

Especially not to someone forceful and dominant.

So why is Theo Moncur, the Earl of Glensmoor interested in her?

As far as she is concerned any man who considers himself dominant, whether he is or not, will play no part in her life. She will be in charge of her life.

Dominant Theo doesn’t have marriage on his mind.

Having given his mistress her congé, his growing attraction toward Eleanor makes him wonder if she would fill that place.

He sees something in her, that appeals.

The lady would be a perfect submissive—not that she agrees.

However the more he gets to know her, the more he understands she is the only lady for him.

Now all he has to do is persuade Eleanor to agree.

The Dom Who Said Please

And a wee tease

Theo dipped his head, took her nub in his mouth, ignored her shriek and the way she clutched his head, and sucked. Before he thought she would have time to assimilate that experience, he nipped each nipple in turn, settled himself between her legs, and then draped her ankles over his shoulders. A position that would give him ease of penetration and her the ability to grip on.

“Arse not too sore?” he asked.

“What?” She sounded puzzled. “Oh no. Not at all.”

“Good.” He angled the head of his cock at the entrance to her channel and pushed inside her. A scant inch at first, before he withdrew, and she gasped.

“Is that it?”

He rejoiced in the sound of her disappointment.

“Not at all.” He repeated the movement over and over, delving deeper with each thrust until he reached the barrier of her maidenhead. “This is where it will hurt. Any pain after this is for pleasure only. I promise.” He withdrew, re-entered her slick smoothness, and thrust hard.

The barrier dissolved and Eleanor gasped. “Argh … oh.” Her voice shook. “Oh.”

Theo took his weight on his elbows, trying not to carry on. Making himself wait until she wriggled.

“More.”

Was there ever a time he was willing to obey? Theo moved. Tentatively at first until she matched his pace. Then he rode her. Hard and fast until she stiffened, tightened around him, and then melted, shook, and screamed as her climax overtook her. Eleanor clutched his scalp and convulsed as he let himself go and tried to pull out.

“Oh no. Stay. Stay and show me.” Her voice was thready. It trembled but there was enough determination in it for him to realize she meant what she said.

He couldn’t have refused, even if the Prince Regent demanded it. Theo let himself go, thrust one last time, and his seed spilled into her, filling her, as he shouted his completion. It left him happy, sated, and drained. When had he ever felt like that before?

Never.

Meet Katherine McIntyre with her new Paranormal Romance, “Hypnotizing Beat (Discord’s Desire #2).”

Hypnotizing Beat

Welcome Katherine and thank you for agreeing to this interview.

All authors have their own reasons for writing a book. What are yours?

At my core, I write because I love to tell stories. People are fascinating in all their variety, and I’m enamored with showcasing their courage, their hope, their resilience, and their capacity to love, despite the odds.

Where did you find your inspiration for the story? Was it a person, a current event, something you witnessed, or something else?

I’ve always loved fae, and the first book in the series came about because I had been binge-ing Lost Girl and reading rockstar romances at the time and realized I wanted to combine the wacky hijinks of fae with the crazy lives of rockstars. The moment I introduced Danica’s character into the first book, I knew she needed a book of her own. She was too smart, too savvy, too quick-witted to not get her own happy ending.

Did you face any obstacles or challenges while writing the story and if so, what were they?

Actually, I faced a massive stint of writer’s block with this novel. Danica is the polar opposite of my personality, and I found her perspective a lot more difficult to write. She’s a cunning survivalist who hides her emotions at all costs, whereas I’m an open book, pun intended. However, persistence was the name of the game. Even though this book took a bit longer than average to write, the story ended up being memorable for me.

What have you learned from the main characters in your story?

I’ve learned I can write characters foreign to my experience, which was a good personal lesson. Danica and Trevor’s story is one of resilience. Despite the brutal pasts they both endured, both Danica and Trevor learn how to heal together.

Do you write in other genres and if so, what are they? What genres would you like to try that you haven’t already?

Not only do I dabble in other romance subgenres, but I also write young adult and fantasy. In all honesty, fantasy was my first love, the predominant genre I read growing up. I didn’t read romance until I was an adult and ended up falling headfirst for that genre as well. I’d be curious some day to try my hand at a mystery or thriller, because I enjoy tight pacing.

What is your writing process? Are you a pantser or a plotter, or a little of both?

I’m an inveterate pantser. Normally, ideas come at random and they get teased out into concepts. When I start a book, I’m usually working with a base concept, and the plot gets figured out along the way. I’ve tried both methods, but the way I follow my intuition when I pants my way through a novel ends up achieving the best pacing every time. The other issue I have when I try to plot is that I’m too honest. I end up telegraphing future events with a heavy hand, rather than letting them unfold naturally. With pantsing, I’m just as surprised by the twists as the readers!

What’s next on your literary horizon?

I’m going to be working on the next in my Discord’s Desire series, and I’m excited for the final book of my Tribal Spirits series to come out later this year. The newest series in my lineup is The Eros Tales coming out with Limitless Publishing. The first book, Taking Root, will release on July 16th. Of course, because I can’t just be content with that, I’m also working on a heist romance that I’m hoping to develop into a series as well. There will be plenty of new books on the horizon!

Discord’s Desire Series

Blurb:

Danica Maslanka is a survivalist at heart, and after the way she screwed over the guys of Discord’s Desire in their time of need, Trevor Arceneaux wants nothing to do with her. Except when their tour brings them to Sin City and they run into Danica once more, he can’t get the leannan sidhe off his mind.

She’s in dire straits, hunted by the same man who enslaved Trevor for most of his life. He doesn’t trust her for a heartbeat, but he also can’t turn away someone in such a similar circumstance as his own. As their path leads them closer to a confrontation against his former owner, Trevor’s loathing for Danica strips away until he finds himself falling for the tough, independent woman. Danica betrayed them once, but as something real blossoms between them, if she backstabs them this time, his trust will be shattered for good.

Teaser:

The moment he turned the corner, Trevor froze.

She sat at the bar wielding an appletini like a weapon, and the trim black dress she wore clung to her lithe form like it’d been painted on. The neon blue scarf around her neck and matching heels fit her style to a T, accenting glossy chestnut locks pulled into a chignon and sharp, inquisitive eyes that sliced like a knife. The leannan sidhe’s pointed ears and elfin features were the only tip offs of her fae heritage, since she could blend even without the glamour veil that kept humans unaware of their kind.

The sight of Danica Maslanka delivered a one-two punch to the stomach, the reminder of the smoking ruin way things left off between them.

Trevor lifted the gin and tonic as he approached. “So, let me guess, poisoned?”

Her plum lips quirked in a pert grin. When they’d first met, he’d found her stunning, but nothing painted someone in shades of ugly like betrayal. “Like I’d be so classless to offer a poisoned drink. I was looking for a way to chat one-on-one, and I figured if I sent an email, you’d ignore it.”

“You’d be right.” Trevor took a seat beside her. He did trust that she hadn’t poisoned the drink—the woman wasn’t a killer, she just possessed no ounce of moral fortitude. Like he should’ve expected more from one of his kind. When Ky’s brother Larsen Blackmore targeted the band, sending mercenaries after them six months ago, Danica had showed up with a similar vendetta and they’d joined forces.

Until Ky got kidnapped and Danica ditched. She had Larsen in her sights and nailing him to a cross meant more than saving their lead singer. The last time they heard from her, she hung up on Liz while Ky was the worst sort of screwed. Trevor’s blood heated all over again, and he took a sip of the gin and tonic to cool his nerves. \

It’s finally here! Through Roscoe’s Eyes

Through Roscoe’s Eyes

Overview:

When Reggie sets out to continue his mother’s mission to feed the homeless, he never anticipated how much a chance encounter with an injured man, his small, gaunt dog, Roscoe, and sick, young cat, Cinders, would change the course of his life. With a winter storm approaching, Reggie makes a snap decision and brings the wary trio to his estate home to be cared for and nursed back to health.

Reggie learns the man’s name is Calvin, he was a quartermaster in the army, and he was dishonorably discharged prior to the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Taking pity on the man and in need of someone to help him run his mother’s foundation, Reggie offers Calvin a job. With few prospects in sight to find shelter for his small family during the peak of winter, Calvin reluctantly accepts Reggie’s offer on a trial basis, but it is only one of many trials both men will face.

Eventually, yearnings Reggie and Calvin had buried deep inside begin to fan the nearly extinguished embers of passion in both men. With Calvin drawing emotional support from Roscoe and Cinders, and Reggie discovering an ally in his beloved housekeeper, both men explore their newfound attraction, edging them toward the precipice of an ecstasy neither could have imagined.

Will the discovery of a past connection between the two men’s families be enough to bring them together? Or will sinister, outside forces and an unexpected loss of life shatter the bonds between both families and both men for good?

+18 Reader Only Teaser:

Reggie nodded and smiled as he closed the door behind them and then led Calvin to the foot of his bed. Placing both of his hands behind Calvin’s neck, he pulled him in and tenderly kissed his mouth. His hands slid down until he reached the top of Calvin’s shirt. He drew the shirttails from his pants and began to unbutton it.

“You’ll go slow, right?” Calvin asked as he pulled away, breaking the kiss.

“Whatever you want, Calvin. We don’t have to push this. We can just talk if you like.”

Calvin’s eyes began to twinkle. “Hell no,” he said, seductively. “The time fer talkin’s over. I want the full treatment.” Then his face turned impish. “If you please, sir.”

Reggie laughed out loud. “Well you certainly don’t have any difficulty making your wishes known.”

“That ain’t never been one of my problems. I said it, ‘coz, well, you know, I ain’t had it in a while.”

“I’ll be very gentle,” Reggie assured him, “It’s been a while for me as well, but you have had sex before, anal sex I mean, right?

“Oh, hell yeah, but it’s been more ’n a couple o’ years. Things likely t’ have un-stretched if’n ya know what I means.”

“I do, and I hope you’ll not be the only one to be re-stretched tonight, if you know what I mean.”

“I’ll do my best.” Calvin reached for Reggie’s shirt, but Reggie stopped him when he cupped his chin with his right hand and drew him toward him by the shoulder with his left. Calvin’s arms fell to his sides as a moan escaped his mouth when Reggie ran his tongue up his neck and ended behind his ear.

“God, you smell good,” Reggie whispered. “You taste even better, but there’s something I’ve wanted to taste even more for days now.” Reggie dropped to his knees and frantically yanked at Calvin’s belt. He undid the top button, and slid down the fly of his pants, then pulled them to the floor in one fell swoop. Immediately his mouth was upon the thick, seven-inch, hard shaft, drawing it into his mouth through the boxers’ fabric.

As Calvin’s legs began to tremble, he grasped Reggie’s head, steadying himself. “You’re gonna make me buckle over if’n you keep that up.”

“Mmm,” Reggie moaned.

When he slipped the mushroomed head through the boxers’ fly and sucked down the liquid-gold pre-cum oozing from the tip, Calvin grunted. “Damn, boy, you know what to do with a mouth!”

Spurred on by Calvin’s words, Reggie began to bob his head up and down, sucking extra hard as his lips passed over the head’s flange. He drew the shaft in further until his face bounced off Calvin’s belly when it reached the back of his throat.

Calvin could feel himself being brought closer and closer to the edge of orgasm as his prostate began to shudder. “No, Reggie! Wait! Please slow down.” He began to pant. “I want the first … first time I come … come with you to be … to be with you inside me.”

“So good … you taste so good,” Reggie moaned between breaths, not slowing down in the least.

“Reggie!” Calvin cried out as he stumbled forward.

As he fell toward the floor, Reggie’s grip was broken as Calvin caught himself against the footboard of the bed. “Damn, boy, I nearly came. You got yourself one hell of an appetite there!”

“And then some,” Reggie said, with a leer.

Calvin sat down on the floor and held his hands out in front of him. “Please, can we slow this down a smidge? We got all night.”

“Yeah, we do,” Reggie answered with lust in his voice. “And I’m planning to dine on you several times before morning.”

“Then let’s do this right.” How ‘bout a shower, or a bath first?”

“Even better. Then we’ll be all slick and slippery.”

“This here’s a different side of you I ain’t never seen, fer sure. I think I like it, Reggie, but it’s gonna take some gettin’ used t’.”

“Sorry,” Reggie said anxiously. “I’m just so worked up right now. I can’t believe this is really happening, not to me, not now, and I don’t want it to slip by.”

Calvin caressed Reggie’s face. “Me neither.”

“I was so sure I wasn’t going to let it happen. I was determined to not allow my desire for you to ruin the friendship that began to develop between us. And besides, you’re my employee.”

Calvin leaned forward and reached out to caress Reggie’s face. “I ain’t makin’ light of it, but I sure am glad you decided otherwise, ‘coz I’m gonna need help with this,” he said as he gazed into Reggie’s eyes and drew his hand to his pulsating shaft. Then he lowered his eyes to Reggie’s groin. “And I think you’re gonna need help, too.”

Calvin pushed Reggie back up and rose to his knees as he began to unfasten Reggie’s pants. As the belt came free, and Reggie helped to shimmy them and his briefs down, his eight inches of manhood sprang free. It was so thick, Calvin’s fingertips barely met when he wrapped his hand around it. So engorged with blood, its purpled veins contorted and seethed, begging for release, as the shaft swelled and bounced with each heartbeat.

Reggie moaned as Calvin caressed its length with his fingertips. “There’s only one thing that will relieve it, Calvin.”

“I know.” Calvin answered as he licked his lips and leaned forward. “And I’m gonna help you out with that right now, as best I can.”

The moment he pressed his lips to the swollen, purpled head, Calvin began to suck greedily, drawing in the briny nectar that oozed through the slit at the tip. He licked his thumb and index finger and formed them into a ring, then wrapped them around the sensitive spot behind the ridge, extending the pressure his lips exerted and gently milked back and forth across the sensitive glans. As saliva slid down the shaft, it lubricated his grip even more, sending shivers up Reggie’s spine.

“Oh, fuck!” Reggie cried out. “Oh, fuck, just like that. Yeah, baby, just like that!”

“So good … tastes so good,” Calvin moaned in response. “Gawd, it’s been so long … so damn long.”

Reggie began to slowly thrust his hips forward, advancing his cock until it pushed through Calvin’s stretched lips. He continued to thrust until it reached the back of Calvin’s mouth, nearly dislocating his jaw with its girth. Calvin gagged and his eyes watered, but he pressed on and swallowed as the head passed his tonsils, drawing the tip down his throat. Reggie shuddered as pleasure waves spread from his loins and out through his body when the thickened saliva that formed at the back of Calvin’s throat slicked the path his cock followed. “Baby, you’re bringing me close. You’re going to make me come.”

Calvin slid off his cock, choking as it left his throat. “Ain’t that the idea?” he said after wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

Lee Masterson now has his own story in Invincible by Beth D. Carter

Invincible

What’s the signature song for Invincible?

Definitely “Feel Invincible” by Skillet. The first time I ever heard the song I immediately thought of my hero, Lee Masterson, and the fantastic lyrics drove the story plot.

What is your writing process? Do you outline, write by the seat of your pants (Pantser) or a combination of both?

I’m more of a pantser but every once in a while, I’ll list chapters and a sentence or two on what needs to happen in that chapter.

What inspired you to write Invincible?

Lee Masterson, the hero of Invincible, first appeared in my book “Take Aim and Reload” which was book 3 in the Forgotten Rebels MC series. He was also in book 4 “Warrior”. When I was writing that book Lee kept hammering at me for his own story. He’s such an interesting character I had to comply.

Was there as specific part of the story that you absolutely loved writing as well as not enjoyed writing?

I loved coming up with how Lee finds out Lidah is in trouble. He gets this text message threatening her, that he may be invincible…but is she? It’s one of my favorite scenes in all of my books!  As for not enjoying, I would say there’s not really any scene that’s got a negative vibe. This story really flew out of my fingers and I really enjoyed writing it. I’m already under way writing book 2 in the World of Danger series.

Blurb:

Lee Masterson is a gun for hire. He’s shut himself off to almost everything, existing with the memory of a woman he loved fiercely but had to let go for her safety. But his carefully constructed walls are shattered when a threat is made against Lidah Wilcox’s life, sending him back to Kentucky in an desperate effort to protect her.

The hole in Lidah’s heart never fully closed when Lee died, and when he suddenly resurrects from the grave, she’s overwhelmed with emotion and memories.  Twenty-two years of emptiness lie between them, and she’s unprepared for the love that comes surging back to life.

Lee will do anything to protect Lidah, yet he can’t walk away for a second time. Danger brought them back together, but can they keep each other safe when it stalks them again?

Excerpt:

He headed into the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge, popping the top before making his way to the living room. The cool marble tile gave way to plush, cream colored carpet and he sank down into his comfortable, cushiony sofa before toeing off his shoes and propping his feet up on the coffee table. The sparse decoration fit his lifestyle, since he was constantly on the move. He took a long swig of beer and leaned his head back. Exhaustion descended over him and he closed his eyes. The thought of how much longer he could continue in his line of work was an abstract concept that solidified with every job completed. The simple fact was he was getting far too old for the same old shit.

“Lidah?”

“Yes, Lee?”

“Play the tape.”

A second later, a soft voice came through his speakers. A memory from long ago that always managed to soothe him whenever weariness took root in his soul. For an infinitesimal moment, the world fell away to transport him back in time. He could still see her, the one woman he could never forget, frozen forever as a teenager who looked up at him with love in her eyes.

“Hi Lee, it’s Lidah. I was wondering if you’d like to, um, go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me. ‘Cause, you know, girls have to ask boys. All right. No worries if you don’t want to. Um. Okay. Bye.”

Of course, he’d accepted. He had a crush on her the moment he’d laid eyes on her his first day of high school. If life had dealt him a better hand, he would have married her one day, and the thought still broke his heart.

“Lee,” Lidah the computer said, breaking into his melancholy memory. “You have a message coming through from an unknown IEP.”

Lee opened his eyes and sat up a little straighter. He placed his beer on the coffee table. “Spam?”

“No. It’s encrypted.”

“From JD?”

“No.”

“Viruses?”

“None. It is addressed to you, marked as urgent.”

Suddenly wary, he dug out his phone from his front pocket. “Send it to my cell.”

His phone beeped, and he swiped it to check the message. A black screen appeared, and a sentence rolled across it. “They say you’re invincible.”

Lee frowned. “What the hell?”

The screen went dark, only to be replaced with a picture. A photo of a woman, and although time had brought maturity and wisdom to her face, Lee recognized her immediately. Lidah! Layered red hair looking like fire in the sunlight. Kindness shining from her brown eyes. The living Lidah had developed into a beautiful woman, but just as that thought flashed through his head another message came through.

“Is she?”

Bio & Social Media Links:

I like writing about the very ordinary girl thrust into extraordinary circumstances, so my heroines will probably never be lawyers, doctors or corporate highrollers.  I try to write characters who aren’t cookie cutters and push myself to write complicated situations that I have no idea how to resolve, forcing me to think outside the box.  I love writing characters who are real, complex and full of flaws, heroes and heroines who find redemption through love. I love to hear from readers so I’ve made it really easy to find me on the web:

EXCERPT:

Meg’s gaze dropped to Jack’s full lips. “Maybe just one kiss,” she heard herself say.

He captured her lips without hesitation, sending a rush of heat and goosebumps skittering across her skin. His soft lips swept across hers as his hand slipped up her back and grabbed hold of her hair, angling her head toward him.

The brush of his tongue along her lips sent a spasm through her pussy, and a moan rose to her throat.

Trevor leaned into her, his open-mouth kisses dampening her neck as Jack continued his languid assault on her mouth. Tasting. Licking.

One man’s hand in her hair, the other’s on her waist, one on each thigh, rubbing, slowing inching upward.

Meg tore her lips from Jacks, heaving for breath, eyelids clenched shut.

One kiss, she’d said. She hadn’t expected a long, drawn-out kiss that would make her body quake with need.

“Come over to our cabin with us,” Trevor said, his low voice rumbling in her ear, his thumb drawing circles mid-thigh on her bare skin. “Check off your number one bucket list item.”

Jack nibbled along her jaw to her other ear. A shiver slid down to her toes as he squeezed her other thigh. “I…I c-can’t.”

“Does the thought of Trevor and I together turn you off?” Jack asked, nibbling her earlobe.

A huff of laughter flew past Meg’s lips as the two men continued their assault on her senses. “I saw you kissing on your back patio the other night.” The words escaped her parted lips, unintended.

Trevor nipped her skin in the hollow beneath her ear. “How did that make you feel?”

“Aroused,” she whispered, eyes still shut tight. They pulled answers from her easier than…

“I was thinking about you while fucking Jack.”

A rush of moisture soaked her panties at Trevor’s low, rumbled confession against the hollow beneath her ear. “I-I heard you.”

“Did you touch yourself?” Jack asked against the corner of her mouth, his sweet breath fanning her lips.

Meg swallowed. “Yes.”

“Did you come?”

“Yes,” she whispered.

Both men groaned.

“Come to our cabin with us,” Jack said. “Please.”

Meg thought she’d known what temptation was, but the war raging between her body and mind put a whole new meaning to the word.

Welcome, T. Lee Garland with her Erotic fairy tale/paranormal Romance Novel, Jacki and the Giant

Jacki and the Giant

Thank you for visiting my blog with your evocative, erotic, fairy tale, romance novel, Jacki and the Giant.

What would you like readers to take away from your story? Does it contain a message?

I think it contains a very important message without getting preachy. That message is to stop judging people by the way they look. Stop name calling and bullying, we are all special in our own unique ways. We need to take more time to get to know each other, I think we will find out we have more in common then we could ever imagine. We all want the same thing, to be loved for who we are. Jacki looks past the Giants reputation, his size, and his scar and sees the good person, but lonely person he really is.

Where did you find your inspiration for the story? Was it a person, a current event, something you witnessed, or something else?

Well, it’s kind of an odd story. After the success of Rapunzel’s Romp, I was looking to write another erotic fairy tale, but was looking for one that maybe hadn’t been done before. At the time I was working at a physical therapy clinic and one of our patients had gifted us a plant as a thank you. One day I happen to notice that it was really growing like crazy, climbing up the window in the clinic really very quickly. I told one of the therapists’ it was like a magic beanstalk. As soon as it was out of my mouth the story clicked in my head and I knew I had found my new story.

Did you face any obstacles or challenges while writing the story and if so, what were they?

Well anytime you are writing a story set back in time it requires a little research. Jacki and the Giant takes place in the 1400’s in a village. The Giant lives in a cottage on top of a mountain, so not really challenges or obstacles, just some Goggling about how they may have lived, dressed, traveled, and ate back in that time.

What have you learned from the main characters in your story?

I hope I’ve learned not to judge by the outside, but by the goodness we all have inside us. My characters are good people, who were misjudged by everyone, except each other, and all because of how they looked.

How much emphasis do you put on supporting characters to move the plot of your stories along? Have any of your supporting characters ever gotten their own story?

Just in a couple of series that I have written. There is an important character in Jacki and the Giant, one who plays a very important role in helping the two of them meet.

Do you write in other genres and if so, what are they? What genres would you like to try that you haven’t already?

Most of my books are contemporary stories, as well as a couple of stories that are considered “sweet” with no sex involved. I’m currently writing my first YA and I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I like to write whatever comes to me and I don’t want to be boxed into a single genre. That would not be fun for me and I think I would get bored with writing if I were to stay in only one lane.

What or who influences your writing?

Anything and everything is fair game. My friends and family know what I write and have learned to be careful about what they say around me. A movie, an overgrown plant, a name I heard out in public can all turn that light bulb on in my head.  Once I got one sentence stuck on repeat in my head and wrote an entire book about that one sentence.

What do you do in your down time to feed your soul?

I read and I wish I could say I read a lot, but unfortunately I usually only manage one or two books a month. When I’m not working the evil day job, reading, or writing I tend to watch a lot of Netflix and TV. I am obsessed with the Food Network Channel and love to cook and share with friends and family. My sons are grown and have their own homes, but we try and get together and have movie and dinner night from time to time and it’s my favorite time of all, just hanging out with them and listening to them talk about their day.

What’s next on your literary horizon?

Tackling that YA novel I mentioned earlier, I hope I don’t lose interest and will be able to complete it. Like all authors I have tons of stories I have started and never finished.

What is important in your life and why?

Family, family, and more family, with a dash of friends, who are like family. I lost my husband ten years ago after thirty years of marriage. I know how important family is and not just with my sons and their significant others. I love my younger brother and sister and their children and try to stay close with them even though we all live in different states.

Blurb:

What if the Giant was just lonely?

Jacki’s already hard life just went from bad to worse when a misunderstanding brands her a witch and a mob intent on burning her alive sends her running for her life.

An odd little man gifts her with a handful of dried beans and tells her to use them in a dire situation. What could be direr? With the mob on her heels and her back against a mountain, Jacki drops the beans to the frozen ground and watches a beanstalk grow to the sky. With no other choice, she climbs.

Ben has been known as the fierce Giant of the Mountain all his life. He lives alone in isolation on top of the mountain, yearning for love and a family of his own. His frightening size and slashing facial scar have given him a reputation that has ostracized him from the villagers below.

Can the tall woman with the fiery red hair that shows up in a snowstorm be sent just for him?

Excerpt:

“I told you, Jacinda, you’re not going anywhere, not today, anyway.”

Jacki watched him walk to the fireplace, crouch, and stoke the fire before adding a couple of logs. He looked up at her, his face calmly impassive. “I’m going out to tend to the animals and I’ll come back and make us some breakfast. I suggest you stay put.”

Jacki leaned against the door. She was a virtual prisoner here. It would be nothing short of suicide for her to even try to leave. But she couldn’t stay here, could she? Here, alone with the likes of him? Her reputation would be in ruins. That was if she even managed to survive long enough to have a reputation. What if he was dangerous? He certainly looked capable of danger. He was too manly, too ruggedly handsome for his own good.

He cut his eyes to her and a dark eyebrow quirked up. It was almost like he could read her thoughts. Her heart sped up and her lady parts tingled with awareness. Perhaps he was dangerous in other ways. Her body was certainly telling her he was. She couldn’t go there. He was, after all, the giant. The town folk obviously feared him and probably for just cause. Shouldn’t she also fear him? Oddly enough, she didn’t.

Jacki swallowed and raised her chin. For some reason, it was important to her that he know she understood. “I’m not afraid of you.”

In one fluid motion, he turned and looked at her, stood, and leisurely, deliberately moved toward her. How could someone so big still manage to move so gracefully? Powerfully, yes, but somehow he managed to be smooth and not clumsy. Jacki felt her insides tremble the closer he got. She leaned back against the door and the cold from outside seeped through her clothing. He stopped in front of her. Close enough that she could see the flecks of gold in his bright-blue eyes. Close enough that she could see the edges of the scar and count every stitch that it must have taken to mend his skin back together. Close enough that she could smell his manly scent. It had a surprising effect on her body. Her breaths quickened, her heart beat harder and faster, and her skin grew warm and tingly. What was happening to her?

He reached out his pointer finger and slowly, deliberately, ran it down the side of her face and over to her bottom lip. His gaze dropped to her mouth and Jacki found herself holding her breath in anticipation.

“You should be afraid.”

“Why? Why should I fear you? Just because you’re…” She shrugged her shoulders. “You’re tall? I’m a tall woman. People also look at me with fear in their eyes.”

“No, not because I’m big.” His eyes flicked back up to hers. “Because I want to kiss you, Jacinda, and I may not want to stop.”

Jacki swallowed. “Oh, I see.” She searched his face. “I’ve … I mean … I’ve never been kissed before. Not a proper kiss … from a man.”

“The men in the village must all be simpletons.”

She shook her head. “No, I think they are just short.”

The corners of his lips twitched. He chuckled. It was low and rough. A sound from somewhere deep in his chest and it rolled outward and encompassed her, like a hug. “Well, thankfully I don’t have that problem, now do I?”
